Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
1. Why we have a separate cookie policy
Our main Privacy Policy covers personal information broadly; this page zooms in on one specific mechanism — cookies and comparable browser storage on marketpush.life — and walks through what gets stored, why, and for how long, plus the controls you have over it.
2. A quick definition
A cookie is nothing more than a small piece of text a website asks your browser to hold onto. It lets a site remember something between page loads or visits — a choice you made, or simply that your browser has been there before. Some of that storage is load-bearing for the site to work at all; some of it is optional and exists to help us understand usage patterns.
3. The banner you see on this site
Land on marketpush.life for the first time and a banner will greet you with three buttons: Accept all, Reject all, and Customise. The Customise option opens a small panel letting you switch optional analytics storage on or off while essential storage stays active in the background, since turning essential storage off would break the banner's own ability to remember your choice. Whichever option you pick sticks in your browser for six months, at which point — or sooner, if you clear your browsing data — the banner resurfaces so you can confirm or change your answer.
4. The categories in use
Essential
This bucket covers the bare minimum needed to keep the site functional — chiefly, remembering that you have already made a cookie choice so the banner does not nag you on every single page of the same visit. Because Canadian guidance treats this category as necessary for basic operation, it is not something the Customise panel lets you switch off.
Analytics (optional)
Turn this on and we gain an aggregate picture of how the site gets used — which of the homepage, services, work, about, FAQ and contact pages people land on, how they move between them, and roughly how long a page holds attention. We use that picture to sharpen page structure and calls to action, not to build a profile on any one visitor, and it is only ever collected once you have actively said yes, either through Accept all or through Customise with the analytics toggle switched on before saving.
What you will not find here
There is no third-party advertising or retargeting pixel running on marketpush.life today, and we do not pass visitor data to ad networks for resale. Were that ever to change, we would update this page and the banner's categories first, before any such storage went live.
5. Where your choice actually lives
Whatever you pick — full acceptance, full rejection, or a custom mix — is written to a preference stored locally in your own browser for up to six months. We keep no separate database on our servers linking that choice back to you personally; once it is gone from your browser, it is gone.
6. Resetting or changing your choice
Two routes get you there: clear this site's cookies from your browser settings, which brings the banner back on your next visit, or lock cookies out entirely at the browser level, keeping in mind that doing so may affect how the banner and a handful of site features behave going forward. Most browsers tuck this under a "site data" or "cookies" section of their privacy settings.
7. The consent checkbox is a different thing entirely
Our contact page carries its own "consent_pipeda" checkbox, unchecked by default and required before a submission goes through — but that checkbox does not write a cookie at all. It is a one-off confirmation attached to that particular enquiry, logged with a timestamp as our Privacy Policy describes, giving us a record that consent was given for that submission under PIPEDA and BC PIPA alike.
8. How long preferences last
Six months is the ceiling for any cookie-banner preference stored in your browser. Past that point, or the moment you clear it manually, the slate wipes and the banner shows up again next time you visit.
9. If this page changes
Should the cookies or storage tools behind this site change, we will update this policy to match. The "last updated" line near the top always marks the most recent version.
